MGCs Down Under is a fascinating book about MGC owners and their cars in Australia and New Zealand.

Eight chapters focus on personal stories, technical issues, some production differences and list the MGCs residing down under.

The Book is illustrated with many photos, diagrams and tables.

Tim Hodgkinson, owner of the prototype MGC, FRX 692C, has written the foreward and recommends the Book to all MGC enthusiasts.

“Ian must be praised for a great effort and unique insight, that I am sure will make a wonderful read and further keep your MGC interest alive.”

— Tim Hodgkinson, owner of the prototype MGC

About Ian

From driving model cars in his sandpit as a youngster to buying his first full-sized car, an MG TC, Ian’s love of sports cars has led him to a life of never being without an MG.

His MGC journey started in 1997 when he purchased his red GT. Several years later he took over the position of MGC Register Co-ordinator for the MG Car Club of South Australia, a position he still holds.

Like many MG owners, he has carried out his own repairs and modifications and has shared his experiences with MGC owners throughout Australia and New Zealand.

He has contributed to car magazines and books over many years.
